Business Challenge

ENSIGN’s Bakersfield, California office was struggling between service provider stability and an outdated phone system with the inability to expand to the company’s growing needs.

Technology Solution

ARRC Technology provided a Mitel Voice over IP phone system that will expand and offer features that will benefit the company’s current growth and be readily available for future expansion. The goal solution goal was to ensure stability in calling, allow the customer to have direct dial with their other offices and decrease long distance charges.

The solution provided enhanced features such as the “Your Assistant” which is a unified communications dashboard that integrates presence and availability, secure instant messaging and audio conferencing as well as the added benefit of Call Forwarding to cell phones, direct dialing, and 4 digit direct dial within the company. ENSIGN’s Bakersfield office currently has 60 phones and possesses the capability to connect their Canada and Denver offices when they so choose.

With the Mitel phone solution, ENSIGN was able to see a reduction in phone system maintenance costs as well as an annual reduction in telecommunication costs.
