Microsoft Demo
Make Documents Look Great in
Word 2007

With Microsoft Office Word 2007, you
can quickly and easily turn a plain-looking document into one that
looks professionally designed.
Use styles to quickly format major
elements in your document, such as titles, subtitles, and headings.
Start with predefined, coordinated designs and then customize to
suit your needs.
As you work, you don't need to apply formatting and
then do it again until you have what you want — just point to a
style in the dialog box to see a preview in your document.
Not quite
right?
Point to a different style and see what it looks like.
Watch the demo to see how easy it is to give a plain document a
professional-looking makeover, and then give it a final polish with
headers and footers and a cover page.

Extreme Changes are Exciting
In the words of Kyle,
LeeAnn and the staff at the Wedding Center, they were “sooooo (yes
that’s 5 “o’s”) excited, honored, and humbled” for winning the
Extreme Office Makeover. “This is a life-changing event, just like
starting a business, buying a house, or having a baby”, LeeAnn said.
The Wedding Center is in the business of making dreams reality for
couples. So, it is ironic that Extreme Office Makeover offered them
the same experience.
The entire team at ARRC
demonstrated skill and ability, as well as entertainment value. In
LeeAnn’s words, “We were kept away from embarrassing tears of
misplaced emotion by hilarious antics that made us laugh until our
stomachs hurt”. She was “WOW’d” by smiling installers who
volunteered time away from their families on a Saturday morning to
make sure their business was up and running by Monday morning.
But, ARRC was not the only
team to make this dream a reality. Business partners, such as
Gandola’s Landscaping, donated to the Extreme Office Makeover. With
their incredible team, they brought instant curb appeal and
satisfaction to The Wedding Center’s business store front. Carpet
Outlet Plus changed their “retro that had to go” carpet with updated
floor coverings that matched all their needs.
I invite you to visit the
Wedding Center blog site and read in LeeAnn’s emotional words
describing the experience so far, and how they eagerly anticipate
the completion and Grand Re-Opening ribbon cutting ceremony set for
November.
We look forward to the
Extreme Office Makeover completion. Stay in touch with the Circuit
for more information about the ribbon cutting, as well as the
“after” pictures of the Wedding Center. Here are the BEFORE
pictures:

Productivity Calling
VoIP Can Dial In Rewards for Your
Growing Business
Your company's IP network
already enables your employees to use the internet, e-mail and web
resources on the job. But did you know the very same technology can help
your company save money -- by transmitting phone calls through voice
data in packets using IP rather than a traditional phone line?
If your company is like
many SMBs, you're on a fast track of growth but want to keep your
business expenses from running amuck. One way to achieve both goals is
through a robust technology called Voice over IP (VoIP).
This technology was once
touted as a solution of the future, and today is already proving its
worth for many SMBs seeking to prepare for the future.
What exactly is VoIP?

How Big is Your Mailbox?

We have spent a lot of time recently (which
translates to a lot of extra expense for our customers) troubleshooting,
managing, and working with VERY large mailboxes.
From a purely
technical standpoint, once a mailbox gets over a GB in size, it starts
to become a minor challenge in terms of supporting it, speed of access
and search, and management in general. Once a mailbox gets to be over 2
GB in size, we start to run into some very serious limitations that will
manifest in support, management, and disaster recovery scenarios.

Four Reasons Why the Time Is Right
to Adopt Document Management

Where's
the latest client services contract? What's the medical history on this
patient? Where is the case filing from last year's lawsuit? Why can't we
seem to find the documents we need?
If you're like most small
to midsize businesses today, you can recall a time when you had to
rummage through thousands of files -- just to get your hands on the one
you needed. And if you're a company in the highly regulated accounting,
finance or healthcare world, you may encounter this frustrating scenario
almost every day.
