Bakersfield Based Technology Company Receives Global Recognition

ARRC Technology Ranks No. 61 on the 2008 MSPmentor TOP 100 WORLD LIST of Technology Managed Service Providers.

NEW YORK, February 11, 2009 – MSPmentor today ranked ARRC Technology No.61 on its annual ranking of the world’s most progressive managed service providers. www.mspmentor.net. The MSPmentor 100 is an annual survey conducted by MSPmentor and its owner, Nine Lives Media Inc.

“Instead of ranking MSPs merely by total revenue, we calculate an index measurement using such metrics as overall managed services revenue, overall managed services revenue growth, percentage managed services revenue growth, managed services revenue per employee, number of devices managed, and other data points comparing fiscal 2007 to fiscal 2008. This index approach ensures small, midsize and large MSPs from around the world are recognized on the MSPmentor 100,” said Joe Panettieri, Editorial Director of MSPmentor.

In order to be considered for the MSPmentor 100 (2008-2009 edition), managed service providers had to complete a comprehensive online survey, which MSPmentor and Nine Lives Media Inc. conducted from October 2008 until December 18, 2008. More than 1000 managed service providers from across the globe participated in the survey recording nearly $800 million in annual revenues.

The MSPmentor 100 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the MSP model and the world’s most progressive providers like ARRC Technology.

ARRC Technology began with a small investment in 1992. President Alex Rogers sold his only asset, a horse named Trooper for $300, borrowed an office and desk from a friend, and began cold calling from the yellow pages. These simple actions set the foundation for the core values and beliefs of the company: work hard, give gratitude for the support you receive, and offer your clients only the best services and products delivered with an excellent experience.

“ARRC’s “hard-working” attitude enables us to adapt evolutionary demands required to stay a competitive service provider. We originally began as a simple PC service and repair shop, evolved into a system design/builder, brought on networking and management, invested in telecommunications before VOIP hit the industry, and now are a fully operational Managed Service Provider, exclusively featuring our national product CharTec™,” said Alex Rogers.

A managed service provider (MSP) provides delivery and management of network-based services, applications, and equipment to enterprises, businesses, or other service providers. Managed service providers can offer services that can include fully outsourced network management arrangements, including advanced features like IP telephony, messaging and call center, virtual private network (VPNs), managed firewalls, and monitoring/reporting of network servers. Most of these services can be performed from outside a company's internal network with a special emphasis placed on integration and certification of Internet security for applications and content. MSPs serve as outsourcing agents for companies, especially other service providers like ISPs, that don't have the resources to constantly upgrade or maintain faster and faster computer networks.
