This is a fast paced environment requiring a team player with expertise in Accounts Payable and customer service.
Business writing etiquette and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are a must (Word/Excel/Outlook). Minimum of 2 years experience in office administration and Payables/Purchase Receipts. Applicants with college degree will be shown preference.
Partial Duty List as Follows:
Daily
- Provide Co-Workers, Clients and Venors with Excellent Customer Service
- Assemble Purchase Journals for Administration
- Enter and Code Daily Payables Accurately and according to Department
- File All Payables Appropriately
- Conduct Vendor Accounts Payable Calls/emails
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization of Copy Room Area
Weekly
- Pull Payment Journals and Mail Payables Correctly
- Complete Petty and petty cash report
- Work with Warehouse on Debit Orders/Memos from Vendors
- Order office and stock room supplies
Monthly
- Assist with sending out end of month billing
- Audit Monthly Vendor Statements and Request invoice copies as necessary

Administrative Assistant
ARRC Technology, a high-paced technology company, seeks an energetic, organized, fast-learner to fulfill the position of lead receptionist and administrative assistant. This is a fast paced environment requiring a team player with expertise in multitasking and customer service. Ability to manage a multi-line phone system with light-heavy call volume. Business writing etiquette and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are a must (Word/Excel/Outlook). Minimum of 2 years experience in office administration and/or reception required. Accounting (A/R, A/P) Experience a plus. Must have a high school education and type 40 wpm. Applicants with college experience will be shown preference.
Partial Duty List as Follows:
- Receive and properly route incoming calls and efficiently handle multi-line VoIP phone system.
- Greet, announce and direct visitors. Set up conference rooms for meetings.
- Monitor fax mailbox and take appropriate action on incoming messages.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Communicate well over the telephone and able to operate superbly in a team environment.
- Receive customer request for support and route them correctly.
- Learn and identify VIP clients and ensure their calls are routed properly. Provide basic information about company products and services.
- Perform duplication of assorted documentation as needed.
- File service orders, sales orders, A/P.
- Assist Supervisors with Administrative/Accounting Duties (A/P, A/R)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Marketing Assistant Job Description
Title: Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Corporate Administration and Marketing Director
Primary Location: Bakersfield Office
Job purpose: The Marketing Assistant is a key link in implementing marketing strategies across the company, by providing materials, technology support, logistics and event coordination, etc. on deadline. This position involves creative design responsibilities, marketing tool knowledge, and some creation of marketing strategies.
Applicants: The best candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, deadline-focused and problem solvers. They value precision, clear and direct communications and getting things done. They enjoy frequent change and the creation and challenge of new projects and technology marketing tools.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business or related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- 2+ years experience in marketing, with at least 1 year experience in brand advertising and/or direct response marketing capacity.
- Proven experience in developing creative for advertising materials, direct mail, email and online advertising communications.
Required Technical Skills: The Marketing Assistant should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with basic graphic design software such as Publisher and Photoshop or InDesign are necessary, however this position does not require expert graphic design skills. Visual Materials Logistics
Assist in the process of producing, installing and distributing materials, including brochures, PowerPoint’s, artwork, displays, boards, etc. Responsibilities include coordination with:
Off-set printers, Digital printers, Photocopiers, Vinyl cut graphics sign makers, Videographer, Graphic designers, etc. Conduct a quarterly review of materials. Reorder and replace worn, old or faded pieces and promos. Work with Web, TV, Radio, and billboard reps for ad placement.
Internet: Social Media, Blogs, Commentary and Community Feedback
It is a goal to better monitor and maintain the company websites and social media identities for participation and to respectfully respond to any positive or destructive comments. The company wants to mitigate or mend any damage immediately. This position will monitor, report information to Supervisors/CEOs, and may be asked to respond to these requests or issues. FaceBook, YouTube, Linked In, Google Buzz, Yelp, and Citysearch are just a few examples of the Social Media we monitor.
Internet Marketing
Maintain web, email campaigns and newsletter needs, including, but not limited to the following, based on requests by the Marketing Firm:

Press Clipping Archive
For the purposes of displaying articles and maintaining our archive, the Marketing Assistant will do the following.
- Collect all articles that mention the company
- Coordinate high resolution scans 1 or 2 times per year.
- Maintain press clip archive and backup copies.
- Provide electronic files to graphic designers when necessary.
Event and Meeting Marketing
The company participates in a number of on and off-site events designed to build brand. Coordination and attendance at multiple events will be expected. Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain equipment, materials and collateral for events and Academies.
- Maintain the marketing agendas, meeting and events calendar.
- Order food for events in a timely manner based on the size of the event.
- Coordinate with office staff on agenda for facility preparation, maintenance and cleaning.
- Announce visitors or guests via weekly email.
- Coordinate event attendance with other teams.
- Coordinate client and staff meetings and their marketing.
Promo Packaging and Goodie Bags
Marketing efforts through effective promo items and partner gifts are imperative. Coordination of campaigns events with items will be expected. Specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain and assemble boxes/bags with promo items for campaigns, events and Academies
- Pack, distribute, ship and items according to campaign or event schedule
- Keep accurate inventory and reorder stats based on each campaign, event and Academy
Salary plus medical/dental/vision/401k benefits.
Compensation: $35k per year, and will increase depending on experience, education and natural talent.
